Products I use that may sound unfamiliar:
isopropyl myristate -An emollient ingredient that helps to ensure that moisture stays locked in. It is also able to enhance the penetration of other ingredients!

polysorbate 80-it is an solubilizing agent...Used to solubilize essential oils and other ingredients in water. With this ingredient, YES, water and oil DOES mix!
dimethicone-(used in very small amounts) a silicone-based polymer used in many personal care products, acting as a skin protectant, emollient, and conditioning agent.
Liquid Germall-prevents the growth of bacteria, yeast, and mold! Ewww, let's keep that stuff out of our products!
hyaluronic acid-A naturally occurring substance found in the skin, eyes, and joints. It is a type of glycosaminoglycan, a complex sugar molecule that plays an important role in maintaining skin hydration and elasticity.
glycerin-A colorless, odorless, liquid that is a type of sugar alcohol. It is a naturally occurring compound found in plants, animals, and fermented foods. It helps moisturize and hydrate the skin.
BTMS-50-A natural, plant-derived, emulsifying wax and conditioning agent, loved for its ability to emulsify, thicken, and condition skin and hair.
cetyl alcohol-Primarily derived from vegetable oils, such as coconut oil or palm oil. Helps to stabilize mixtures of oil and water, thickens products, and is great at moisturizing and softening the skin!
